The Scan & Translate app extracts texts from any printed sources such as documents, books, signs, instructions, or announcements and allows immediate translation to any of the 90 languages available. Simply take a picture of the text, and after it is recognized, you can edit, hear, translate, share it on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, vKontakte, or send it via email or SMS.

It is also offered at a significantly lower price point—70% cheaper than similar apps available on the market.

In addition to its extensive language capabilities and advanced OCR technology, the Scan & Translate app allows you to edit text, copy it to the clipboard, save it in other apps, and share it on social media platforms. All recognized texts are saved in the History section for future reference.

This versatile app can be used to scan and translate various types of content including paper documents, recipes from cookbooks, notes and letters, restaurant menus, articles from magazines and newspapers, book parts, instructions and manuals, product labels, road signs as well as signs in airports and stations.

Using the Scan & Translate app is simple:
<ol>
<li>Select the language of the original text as the recognition language.</li>
<li>Take a picture of the document, page, or any other text.</li>
<li>Press the "Scan" button.</li>
<li>The recognized text will appear on the screen with options to select the source and target languages for translation.</li>
<li>After selecting the languages, the original text will be automatically translated and displayed at the bottom of the screen.</li>
<li>To listen to the translation, press the "Voice" button.</li>
</ol>

For complete access to all features and an ad-free translation experience, take advantage of the Premium subscription options offered. These include unlimited translations, unlimited text recognitions, offline text recognition and translations, and Snap Mode.

Please note that certain limitations may apply to the Free version, such as daily translation limits, which are subject to change. Canceling a free trial or subscription can be done through your iTunes account settings, at least 24 hours before the end of the current trial or subscription period to avoid being charged. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited upon purchasing a premium subscription during that period.
